StudyVillage is on a mission to fill a critical gap in international education. Founded in Melbourne by a team of university professionals, social workers and researchers, we draw on decades of experience to improve the student journey. Our founding team includes higher-education leaders who have built global recruitment and support programs; together we identified that many thousands of students are arriving abroad without enough individual attention.

We built StudyVillage to change that. Since mid-2020 we have developed our proprietary Happy, Healthy & Wise framework, an end-to-end digital platform and a network of trained mentors. Key milestones: in September 2021 we launched in Australia, the UK and Canada, recruiting over 60 mentors worldwide. We have signed pilots with leading institutions and onboarded top education agencies across 10+ countries.

Our story is one of collaboration and research. We partnered with universities, student services and immigrant researchers to ensure our program addresses real, documented challenges. We operate ethically and openly: all our Student Supporters are rigorously vetted and trained social workers, and our growth has been bootstrapped by early investors who believe in student welfare.
